Case Study
When one of our professors needed to adapt a colleague’s course to her teaching style, Digital Learning stepped in. By leveraging existing materials and adding an interactive graphic, we seamlessly integrated her approach without starting from scratch. This collaboration not only preserved the course’s integrity but also enhanced student engagement.
Troconis Trial Collab
In Spring 2024, we collaborated with Andy Thibault on his News Writing and Reporting course. Students were studying the high-profile Troconis trial, and through our brainstorming, we connected them with key figures in the case for exclusive Q&A sessions. This collaboration provided students with unparalleled insights and real-world experience in journalism. It has caught attention and was covered in the New Haven Register.
Text Adventure Game
To help students master cognitive biases in a Critical Thinking course, we developed an interactive text adventure game that makes learning fun and engaging. Explore the game, and imagine how we can collaborate to create a similar experience that enhances your next course!
Lightboard Studio Example
Professor Carl Barratt used the studio at the Digital Learning Center to teach students about differentiating equations.
